Care Parent Network offers interactive IEP Clinics for parents throughout Contra Costa County.

IEP clinics are individually tailored in small group settings to help participants understand their children's IEPs, get answers to specific questions they may have, and learn how goals are developed and services are determined.

To attend an IEP Clinic, you must have a child 3 to 15 years old with an IEP, and you must be willing to discuss your child's IEP in a small group of other parents. Care Parent Network requires that you give them a copy of your child's IEP at least two weeks prior to your IEP Clinic date to allow them to review the IEP so they're prepared to discuss it with you.

If you are interested in participating in an IEP Clinic this fall, please email, stating that you are interested in an IEP clinic. Be sure to include your name, phone number, and preferred language (English or Spanish). A staff member will call you back to discuss clinic participation. Care Parent Network uses parent interest to determine clinic dates and locations.
