Please note: The SWELL Center, located to the left of the Lafayette Library entry plaza, is reserved for SEED and will be open prior to the library’s public hours.

We'll be celebrating another school year, with friends old and new and honor our Educator of the Year Awardee. It's a night to come together and support SEED's vision to provide support and resources for families & educators of children with diverse learning needs, through grants, workshops, and connection! Keep it casual; 90s attire suggested. This is a family friendly day for our Seed Lafayette families at Lindsay Wildlife Center in Walnut Creek. Although the upstairs will be open to the public, we will have the private downstairs space to ourselves. Some snacks and light refreshments will be provided. Additionally we've partnered with Eleprint Studio (https://www.eleprintstudio.org) to offer all children a one-of-a-kind 3D printed keepsake from the day (to be mailed home afterwards). We ask that you purchase one ticket per person ages 2 and up. This is not a drop-off event.

Join SEED for a FREE festive holiday party with gingerbread decorating and more! All ages and abilities welcome. RSVP by Dec. 6th to reserve a gingerbread house (one per family). This is not a drop-off event. Siblings welcome. Only one ticket needed per family, not per child. You don't have to stay for the whole time. We’re switching things up this month with our Happy Hour. We’re moving over to Lafayette Public House, just in case it gets a little chilly outside! This 21+ event is a great time for parents and caregivers to relax and connect with others. Please join us before heading off on Thanksgiving break!

We’re excited to welcome local educational advocate, Gina Miller, back to SEED! We will be hosting her for two Ask an Advocate webinars. (Look for the next one in March). This is a great time to ask anonymous (or not) questions and get some clarity. Zoom link will be sent out the day of the webinar.

Our monthly Coffee Talk is back. We’re moving over to the Swell Center Cafe at the Lafayette Public Library. This monthly get together is great time to connect with our board members as well as other parents to talk about how things are going with you child, or just catch up socially. We’re about to head into the busy holiday season, where Everyone’s schedules get jostled. Let’s connect and solve problems together!

This is a family friendly, drop-in fundraiser, not just for SEED families. Headlands has graciously partnered with us and a percentage of all sales will go to SEED. So come by for dinner with the family, or drinks with friends to watch the game. This is a rain or shine event.

Calling all parents & caregivers of any students who receive special education services in Lafayette School District! Come join us at Lafayette Public House on Sep 5th from 9-10:30 for some coffee and treats. Come share stories, tips, gripes, wins, and build community.

This is a 21+ event for parents and caregivers of students with IEPS, 504s, or other disabilities. Our happy hours are a great time to connect with other adults and chat about their kiddos, or anything going on in their lives. Sometimes this journey can feel isolating, and having a strong community around you is so important. This event will take place at Headlands Brewery in Lafayette from 6-8 pm. Please drink responsibly.

Join us at Spirited Play Labs in San Ramon for a playdate for young children and their families!  This event is free but registration is required.

We’ll provide light snacks and the kids can enjoy a safe, sensory friendly play space while parents can connect with each other.
